#JCappers Go Europe!
Place: Rome, Italy
Hostel: Tiber Hostel and Camping
When: 25-29 July 2012.
As you all noticed (well I hope you all did) Cecilia (@Sicilja) and I (@BFellicious) launched the idea of a trip to Rome with all the JCappers. It would be really fun if lots of JCappers and Grey’s Anatomy fans want to join us. I can say this: It will be UNFORGETTABLE !!
The idea of a convention popped into my head during all the news of the Grey’s Anatomy ‘The Songs Beneath The Show’ benefit. I really wanted to go to that event, but I couldn’t make it! As lots of JCappers are from Europe, including Cecilia and me, we know how difficult it is to go to events like that. Quite impossible even. So that’s why we decided to organise somekind of convention. We know it isn’t totally the same, because it will be just us fans and no cast members, but I think it will be great to get to know each other, talk about our passion (Grey’s Anatomy, Calzona & Jessica Capshaw) and just have fun for a few days!
We were looking at possible places to do this convention and we did a poll on the facebook of the JCappers. And Rome was the winner. Which I think is great. I’ve been in Italy before (Toscane), which was amazing, but I’ve never been to Rome before. And it’s funny because JCap loves Rome. It will be during summer holidays (27th July – 29th July). If you want you can go earlier, it depends on what you want! The weather will be nice, great food, lots of things to visit… Everyone can join us, well you have to be a fan of Grey’s Anatomy and definitely of Jessica Capshaw. I’m really looking forward to this, it will be a multinational convention!
Cecilia and I are trying to keep it as affordable as possible. Because there are still lots of JCappers who go to school or uni (like me). If you need more information you can either contact Cecilia (@Sicilja) or me (@BFellicious). We are here to help! If you prefer travelling in group, you can also contact the group leaders, who are responsible for their country.
There is also going to be a #JCappersGoEurope T-shirt. So everyone who is going, don’t forget to buy one once they are available, it will be great for pictures and stuff.
We are still working on the programme! There will be of course sightseeing, great activities in the evenings with amazing prices to win, and just making friends for life!
I’ve been saying this quite a lot on twitter, but if you can you should join! It’ll be lots and lots of fun, meeting new people from different countries, visiting a great place,… And believe me when I say that it is going to be UNFORGETTABLE! You’ll propably regret it if you aren’t there…
So if you haven’t signed up yet, what are you waiting for? If you have more questions contact either Cecilia or me!
Everyone spread the word about this and be ready to have some fun!!! It will be awesome!!!
