8 years of practice? weren’t they 5th year residents? I’m having trouble with everybody’s age and time passing I guess. Can somebody help?
Maybe they include Med school too?
Ok, but school is no practice, it’s school. So, let’s try to do the math: they graduate high school at 18. 3 year of college, that’s 21. 4 years of med school, that’s 25. 5 years of residents, that’s 30. mcdreamy and mcsteamy must be maximum 45 (mark sayinf he is closer to mr grey’s age, derek being married for 11 years..), bailey being 1-2 years older then the residents =>32, callie with 2+ years of peace corps makes her around 34, arizona around 34-35 (she is FACS). what do you think?
I think the point is not how old the characters are.After college Meredith didn’t go straight to Med school.Probably is the case of mistake made by the people responsible for the official press release,I don’t know.Even we count the 4 years of med school and 5 years of residency that makes it 9 years not 8.May be they are referring to the number of seasons and someone has forgotten that the first 3 seasons Meredith and Co. were interns,which means the first 3 season equals one year.My advice,don’t read to much into it,because everybody knows that the time line in Grey’s Anatomy is one of the weakest sides of the show.Sometimes it’s very confusing, but I’m going with it.Just enjoy watching the show
