Beautiful actress Jessica Capshaw plays Dr. Arizona Robbins on ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy. The drama was recently renewed for a 10th season. Jessica was in New York City last week on a whirlwind press and pleasure trip. She donned some pretty and stylish looks. Check out the beauty breakdown for each one here!
Outfit: Jessica’s stylist Barbara Constantin pulled a sexy, ’40s-style dress and Stella McCartney shoes.
Makeup: I used Dr. Hauschka’s Quince Day Cream and Chantecaille Just Skin tinted moisturizer to enhance her gorgeous skin. For her eyes I smudged Sue Devitt Eye Intensifier in Golf Reef, with Laura Mercier’s Caviar Stick in Cocoa.
For a bit of cheekbone I contoured with Kevin Aucoin’s Sculpting Powder on the apple of the cheek a touch of Coral Oasis Coconut Watercolor Cheek Gelee by Josie Maran. For a bold orangy-red ’40s-inspired lip I used Nars Velvet Matte Pencil in Red Square.
Hair: Jessica recently had quite a few inches cut by hair stylist to the stars, Chris McMillan. With a curling iron she gave it a wave, brushed it out, and viola the perfect touch to a great look.
DAY 2: TV Appearances and Press
Hair: Hair stylist Owen Gould prepped her hair with products by Sachajuan. First he worked the mousse through Jessica’s damp hair from roots to ends, followed by the styling cream mid-shaft to ends, and finished with the Ocean Mist lightly sprayed at the roots. For this straight look the hair was blown dried in two sections with a medium-sized round brush, to give it a slight bend at the ends.
Makeup: I used NYX Cosmetics Kohl Kajal eyeliner in Brown on the inner rim and upper lashline. For mascara lots of Benefit “They’re Real” mascara on top and Clinique Bottom Lash mascara on lower lashes. For a rosy cheeks I went with a creamy blush by Votre Vu in Ma Cherry. And for flirty pink lips I used Kevin Aucoin lip liner in Blossom, topped with Jouer lip gloss in Sorbet.
Outfit: Burberry rain coat
Day 3: Appearance on The View
Hair: Stylist Owen Gould sprayed 1-inch sections of hair with L’Oreal Elnett medium hold hair spray, using a 1.5-inch curling iron wrapped each section leaving about 1 inch at the ends, so they wouldn’t be too curly. The final touch was brushing through the hair with his fingers to give it a soft finish, and a more tousled look.
Makeup: I used a blend of Nano Eyeliner pencils by Sephora in Gold Sand and Iced Brown. I gave the face a light dusting of Chanel Soleil Tan De Chanel Moisturizing bronzing powder. For her lovely pout Nars Velvet Matte pencil in Cruella, blotted for a sheer wash of rich color.
